It’s not often that somebody offers you a vintage synthesizer from their garage, but when they do you’ll probably accept it; no matter how many quirks it has, how rusty the screws are or how badly it smells when turned on…. If it turns on.
It’s those quirks that Paddy Mulcahy used to his advantage in writing and recording this new album of Improvisations on a (Yamaha) CS10.
Recorded in three total sessions, the 32 year old composer acknowledges how taken for granted basic features on an analog synthesizer are in this age of modern recording.
Limited Edition Cassettes are available to pre-order now.

Forgotten Piano Works (2015-2025) is a compilation of piano music that was recorded but never managed to see the light of day.
Spanning across the last decade, this album documents Mulcahy's experiments with various pianos, different environments, microphones and feelings.
"The album was conceived after a hard-drive organization excercise, where I thought 'why should I keep this music for myself and not share it with the world?'.
As imperfect as some of the recordings are, they are still a very important representation of my character as a musical artist.
I am very glad to share these recordings with you to celebrate my 32nd birthday."
This album was mixed and mastered to maintain all original dynamics - as the recordings are of a digital & analog hybrid nature.
Please enjoy all decibel changes equally.

How To Disappear is Paddy Mulcahy’s most recent foray into experimental electronic music.
As the title suggests, the inspiration & theme behind ‘How To Disappear’ is escapism.
The work features Mulcahy’s delicate piano compositions accompanied by ambient soundscapes, upbeat electronica and powerful synthesizer pieces.
More upbeat than his previous releases, ‘How To Disappear’ provides a colourful palette for any modern music fan.
Compared to contemporaries like Floating Points & Martyn Heyne, Paddy’s diverse style of composition shines through
on this album where the listener is exposed to everything from choirs to jungle drumbeats.
Early writing stages of the album took place during Winter 2017 in Montréal, Canada then finally recorded, arranged & produced in 2018 when the composer returned to his hometown of Limerick City, Ireland.

'The Words She Said' writes its own personal story through the use of traditional instruments and experimental recording techniques, offering a deluge of emotional and sincere beauty.
The album was started in the Summer of 2015 during a recording trip around Germany and London.
Paddy then continued to work on the album while finishing his BSc degree in Music Production at Limerick Institute Of Technology.
The album was inspired by the similarities and contrasts between pianos and synthesizers, and this relationship was conveyed through the use of various recording and mixing techniques.
